lolly.brand says goodbye to summer!

They say that all good things must come to an end, and so the gang at lolly.brand is preparing to say goodbye to summer–and hello to fall.  The truth is, as much as we love sunny days and beach vacations, nothing quite beats a New England fall, and we’re definitely looking forward to apple cider, brilliantly colored leaves, and anything involving pumpins…

who wants cake???

So I have to ask: who wants cake???  In case you haven’t heard, our lolly.brand hoodie has a new look–and a new attitude to go with it.  After all, lolly.brand is a place where fashion is sweet, but sometimes lolly.girls can be a little bit sassy!   

As always, comfort is our number one priority so we’ve specially chosen this new hoodie design.  Printed on American Apparel® brand, this asphalt colored hoodie (okay, that’s just fancy talk for dark grey) boldly proclaims, LET THEM EAT CAKE.  It’s printed on the back and paired with lolly.brand’s signature cupcake in a neon pink that really pops!  

Yes, I admit it’s a little hot outside for hoodies these days, but just remember that fall is around the corner, so it’s almost time to make that “back to school” list–and check it twice.

lolly.brand’s first thanksgiving

Last week, lolly.brand and brand.L were happy to celebrate their first Thanksgiving!   On the dessert menu?  Cupcakes, obvi!   A batch of delicious pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting were made by Lolly herself, but she couldn’t have done it without the help of her little nephew, Tyler (who just so happens to be the face of brand.L for kids).

This year, lolly.brand and brand.L have a LOT to be thankful for: loyal customers; supportive family and friends; yummy cupcakes; adorable skateboarders…  Thanks to all of these people and things, they are still going strong after 7 months–and looking forward to many more.

lolly.brand loves new things!

Here at lolly.brand, we looove new things!  Most likely we get that from Lolly herself, a self-proclaimed subscriber to retail therapy far beyond her means.  That said, lolly.brand has a new look–and just in time for the new season too!  See, we meant what we said about new things.

So what’s new?  The original lolly.brand Signature Cupcake Tee has been reinvented.  This means a new color (a yummy blue-grey that we like to call “shady navy”); a new fabric (super soft cotton like you wouldn’t believe!); a new fit (tailored and more feminine than ever before); and even a new size (XL, because a girl should have options, right?!).   Now, we’re admittedly biased, but we loveloveloooove these new tees!  Not that we didn’t do it right the first time, but sheesh!–these look andfeel great.  Plus, even though we’ve kept the classic cupcake and lolly.brand logo intact, against the new blue-grey, it looks new too (softer somehow, maybe even more delicious–if that’s even possible).   And so the list goes on…

lolly.brand stays warm!

Brrrr, it’s getting cold out there!  Here in Boston, the leaves are falling, and we have already seen snow–twice!  Fortunately, lolly.brand has stayed warm, thanks to our new cupcake hoodies.

In fact, lolly.girl Lizzie recently celebrated her 27th birthday in style with a cupcake party.  Lizzie and fellow lolly.brander, Miss India, were pretty in pink with their matching hoodies.  They were as cute as they were warm, as you can see.

But don’t worry, we’re not an exclusive bunch.  Shop lolly.brand for her, and you can stay warm and cozy too.  Snow in October?–who knows what will happen next, so be sure you’re fashionably prepared!

lolly.brand keeps busy!

Hey Y’all,

How long it’s been since our last chat!  The summer has come and gone, now the leaves are falling, and all the while lolly.brand has been keeping busy busy busy.  Lolly is a Virgo, and that’s just how it goes.

Here are just a few updates…

These days, little girls are ruling the lolly.world!  They say a picture is worth a thousand words–so take a peek at this sugar sweet photo of Lolly’s coworker with her granddaughter, wearing their matching cupcake tees.  It doesn’t get much cuter than this.  Who would have thought that grandbabies like yummy treats and yummier tee-shirts as much as grown ups?  Clearly, this little cupcaker has fashion sense beyond her years. 

In other news, make sure you get acquainted with the new addition to the lolly.brand collection.  This month, lolly.brand has proudly debuted the Cupcake Hoodie.  Since we don’t do things like everyone else, this isn’t your typical hoodie.  Instead, we opted for shorter sleeves, a plunging neckline, a cozy little kangaroo pocket, and lotsssss of neon (pink, obviously).  The hoodies are now available for purchase and going like, well, cupcakes!

Last but certainly not least, we don’t want the boys to feel left out!  As you may know, Lolly is a proud daughter, sister, wife, auntie, and friend–and so she loves boys.  Hence the new brand.L tee for little dudes!  This shirt is so completely hot-off-the-press that it hasn’t even hit the website yet!  However, Lolly’s adorable little nephews have her wrapped around their little fingers and have already scored their own ultra-cool skateboarder tees.  As if you could resist a face like this!

Don’t worry, she might play favorites (just a bit) when it comes to her nephews, but these tees will be available to the masses in just a few days.  Until then, you’ll just have to be patient.  Didn’t your mother tell you?–it is a virtue.

So what’s next for the rockstar duo of lolly.brand and brand.L, you wonder?  Ahhh, where to start…  Let’s just say that the temperature will soon be dropping, and there are some taller skateboarders out there who could use a few more layers…  Be sure to stay tuned here at www.lollybrand.net.
