brand.L by goes to the carnival–with one adorable little guy…

In case the thermometer didn’t tip you off this week, summer is officially here–and the gang at lolly.brand thought it was high time we celebrate with our first ever, SUMMER BLOW OUT SALE!  Because who doesn’t loooove a good sale, right?

We’re already a week into this fun summer event so you better get your shopping on while the savings are HOT!  Whether it’s a lolly.brand tee for the beach, a baby onesie for your summer bebe, a super sweet hoodie (after all, air conditioning can get chilly!), or a tote to take to the farmer’s market, EVERYTHING is marked down.  But just like the sunny days of summer, the sale won’t last forever…  So stop by today and score some hot discounts of your own.

Happy summer, lolly.branders!

who wants cake???

new-cupcakehoodie_img01

So I have to ask: who wants cake???  In case you haven’t heard, our lolly.brand hoodie has a new look–and a new attitude to go with it.  After all, lolly.brand is a place where fashion is sweet, but sometimes lolly.girls can be a little bit sassy!

As always, comfort is our number one priority so we’ve specially chosen this new hoodie design.  Printed on American Apparel® brand, this asphalt colored hoodie (okay, that’s just fancy talk for dark grey) boldly proclaims, LET THEM EAT CAKE.  It’s printed on the back and paired with lolly.brand’s signature cupcake in a neon pink that really pops!

Yes, I admit it’s a little hot outside for hoodies these days, but just remember that fall is around the corner, so it’s almost time to make that “back to school” list–and check it twice.

lolly.brand is going to stylefixx!

stylefixx

If you haven’t already heard (well, then you must be living under a rock–but we won’t judge), lolly.brand is going to Stylefixx Boston–as a vendor!  For those of you who have yet to attend (if you’re local, shame!), Stylefixx is a girls’ night out event held bi-annually, offering two nights of shopping from an exclusive selection of vendors (many of them local).  Next month’s event takes place on May 12 and 13 in the South End, where lolly.brand will be one of the many fabulous vendors, offering all the lolly gear you could possibly want–PLUS SOME NEW STUFF YOU HAVE YET TO SEE ONLINE!  You won’t want to miss it so be sure to get your tickets while you can (click here for details).  See you there!! lolly.brand celebrates the new year!

Happy 2010, lolly.branders!  Here at lolly.brand, we decided to kick the New Year off right with…NEW STUFF!  After all, the best kind of new things are new clothes!  At least that’s what Lolly thinks…  So what’s new at lolly.brand?  Let the unveiling begin!

Definitely the most exciting addition to the lolly.brand collection is the Skateboarder Jersey Hoodie from brand.L by lolly.brand.  Made of lightweight jersey (Oops!  Did the name give it away?), it has the comfy, broken-in feel of a vintage sweatshirt.  Plus, with the contrasting white zipper tape, it has a vintage look to it too.  But it doesn’t stop there!  The signature skater makes an appearance in black on the back, and we have made sure that everyone knows our name, with the brand.L logo boldly printed along the left sleeve.

Still not sold?  Well, check out the five reasons why this is will be your new favorite hoodie:

  1. The lightweight jersey material makes this sweatshirt perfect for an active lifestyle–all style, no bulk!
  2.  Since many of you fabulous lolly.branders live in places where it’s currently ccccold, the zipper feature makes this hoodie an easy layering piece.
  3. Whether you are a guy or a gal, you can rock this style with ease.  In fact, Lolly AND her brother both love their new hoodies!  (Note: sizes are unisex so they run small; when in doubt, order up.)
  4. The dark, heather grey hue is neutral and can be paired with basically any color.  Hello, the possibilities are endless!
  5. Have you SEEN our super cool skater graphic, designed by Lolly’s beloved Daddy?  It doesn’t get much cooler than that.

In other news (get it?!), after re-vamping the lolly.brand Signature Cupcake Tee this past fall, we thought it was only fair to give little lolly.girls the same treatment.  The new lolly.brand Cupcake Tee for Little Girls is a super sweet blend of minty green and bubble-gum pink.  Plus, knowing that good things come in small packages, we have also added infant sizes.  In addition to toddler and youth tees, this style is now available as an infant onesie for itty bitty lolly.girls, ages 3-6 months; 6-12 months; and 12-18 months.

Of course, we don’t want to leave the little dudes out so the brand.L tee for kids is now available as a onesie in the same infant sizes–sooo cute!  Now it’s official: we (literally) have something for everyone.  So where do YOU fit into the lolly.brand and brand.L family?  We want to hear from you!!! Email photos of you wearing your lolly.gear to ilovelollybrand@gmail.com, and who knows?–You might just find your smiling face right here on the lolly.blog!

As you can see, all the ingredients are in place for a deliciously sweet 2010.  Thank you, dearest lolly.branders, for your continuing support–and best wishes for a very happy New Year full of fun, fashion, and–most importantly–cupcakes.

lolly.brand stays warm!

swsw2

Brrrr, it’s getting cold out there!  Here in Boston, the leaves are falling, and we have already seen snow–twice!  Fortunately, lolly.brand has stayed warm, thanks to our new cupcake hoodies.

In fact, lolly.girl Lizzie recently celebrated her 27th birthday in style with a cupcake party.  Lizzie and fellow lolly.brander, Miss India, were pretty in pink with their matching hoodies.  They were as cute as they were warm, as you can see.

But don’t worry, we’re not an exclusive bunch.  Shop lolly.brand for her, and you can stay warm and cozy too.  Snow in October?–who knows what will happen next, so be sure you’re fashionably prepared!

lolly.brand loves birthdays!

brynn2

I’ll admit it; I’m the kind of girl who plays favorites.  Most girls are, and any girl that tells you otherwise is probably lying.  Now that my disclaimer is out of the way, I’ll admit that one of my favorite girls out there is my niece, Miss Brynn Lee Wilson.  Just like her auntie, she is sweet and sassy–and the fact that she loves cupcakes basically seals the deal.

All of this is what made picking out a gift for Brynn’s 5th birthday a piece of cake–quite literally.  As luck would have it, I happened upon a set of wooden “pretend” kitchen tools, containing all the right ingredients to make cupcakes–down to the finished product: expertly crafted and painted wooden cupcakes.  While I wouldn’t recommend consuming them, they were pretty darn cute.  That, plus a lolly.brand tee…  Don’t you just love theme gifts?

While I couldn’t be there to deliver her gift in person (sadly, nearly 3,000 miles was in the way), her mom (to play favorites again, Kelly is another favorite) gave me the full report, telling me that Brynn carefully laid out her cupcake tee-shirt to wear the next day because it was “something pretty.”  Clearly, Brynn is as smart and fashion-savvy as she is cute!  You can tell as much from these fabulous photos that Kelly took of Brynn, modeling her new lolly.brand tee.

While I’m bragging about family, you should know that Brynn has two adorable younger brothers, Tyler and Dylan, who are at the top of the list for the brand.L boys tees (soon to be released–be patient!).  Stay tuned for more favorites and photos!  Until next time, lolly.branders…

button, button, who’s got the button?

lolly.brand loves lolly.girls of all shapes and sizes, and itty-bitty lolly.girls are no exception!  In fact, this month marked the end of the wait for lolly.brand youth tees, and Miss Hannah made her debut on the website as the new face of lolly.brand for kids.

As you will notice, these darling lolly.brand youth tees are made of light blue cotton and showcase the signature cupcake and logo in neon pink.  It seems tiny tees are taking over, starting here in Boston and having already made their way to Canada–worn by the sweet Kelly girls, Maren and Lauren–and St. Louis, worn by my lovely niece, Brynn.

A good friend reminded me the other day, “Everyone loves cupcakes, it’s a universal truth.”  Little girls especially!  So to celebrate the newest arrival to the lolly.brand collection, you will receive a free lolly.brand button when you order any lolly.brand or brand.L tee.  Supplies are limited, so hurry and get your order in!
